Terms &
Conditions
These terms explain how orders are placed, accepted and fulfilled through Studio 23 Prints. They also set out the responsibilities of both the customer and the business when purchasing posters and printed artwork through our website.
About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Studio 23 Prints website and to purchases made through it. Studio 23 Prints is the trading name of STUDIO TWENTY THREE GROUP LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom.
Our website allows customers to browse and purchase printed posters, art prints and decorative wall artwork. These terms explain the arrangements that apply when you visit the website, place an order or contact us about a purchase.
Please read these terms before placing an order. By using the website, you agree to follow the provisions that apply to your use. When you place an order, you also agree to the purchase terms set out here.
If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the website or submit an order. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or restrict any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Using Our Website
You may use this website for lawful personal purposes, including browsing our collections, reviewing product information and placing genuine purchase orders.
When using the website, you agree that you will not:
- Use the website for any unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose.
- Attempt to interfere with the operation, security or availability of the website.
- Introduce malicious software, harmful code or material intended to disrupt the website.
- Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without permission.
- Submit information that is knowingly false, incomplete or misleading.
- Use automated methods to collect website content without our prior written permission.
We may restrict or suspend access where there is a reasonable concern about misuse, security or unlawful activity. Any action taken will be proportionate to the circumstances and will not affect rights that you have under applicable law.
Products and Descriptions
We aim to present our posters and printed artwork as accurately as possible. Product pages may include photographs, artwork previews, descriptions, dimensions, format details and other information to help you make an informed choice.
Images displayed on a screen may look slightly different from the finished printed item. Differences can arise from screen settings, brightness, colour profiles, lighting and the characteristics of the printing process.
Product dimensions, paper details, finishes and other specifications will be stated on the relevant product page where applicable. Please check these details before completing your order.
If a product is offered in several sizes or options, you are responsible for selecting the option you want before submitting the order. We cannot guarantee that every product will remain available at all times.
A reasonable difference in how colours appear on different screens does not automatically mean that a printed item is faulty. However, this does not affect your rights where an item is materially different from its description or does not meet the standards required by law.
We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in product descriptions, specifications or images. If an error materially affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you to discuss an appropriate solution.
Orders and Acceptance
You can place an order by selecting the products you wish to purchase, choosing any available options and completing the checkout process.
Before submitting your order, please review your selected products, quantities, delivery details and contact information. You are responsible for checking that the information provided is accurate.
After you submit an order, you should receive an order acknowledgement. This confirms that we have received your request, but it does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
Acceptance takes place when we confirm that your order has been accepted for fulfilment, normally through an order confirmation or dispatch notification. The contract between you and us will be formed at that point.
We may need to decline or cancel an order where:
- A product is no longer available or cannot reasonably be supplied.
- There is an obvious pricing or product information error.
- Payment cannot be authorised or completed.
- The delivery details are incomplete or cannot be verified.
- There is a reasonable concern about fraud or misuse of the website.
If we cannot accept an order after payment has been taken, we will arrange a refund for the amount paid for the affected order. We will contact you where further information or an alternative arrangement is needed.
Prices and Payment
Product prices are displayed on the relevant product pages and at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).
Any delivery charges or additional costs that apply to your order will be displayed before you complete checkout. The total shown at the final stage of checkout is the amount you are asked to pay.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are accurate. If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods made available during checkout. Payment authorisation and processing may be handled by an external payment service provider.
We do not ask customers to send full payment card details by email or through ordinary website contact forms. Please use the payment process presented at checkout.
An order will normally move into processing once the required payment has been successfully completed and the order has been accepted.
Production and Availability
Some printed products may be prepared or printed after an order is placed. The time required can vary depending on the product, selected specifications, order volume and production arrangements.
Any production or dispatch estimate shown on the website is an indication rather than a guaranteed delivery date, unless we expressly confirm otherwise.
If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. Where we cannot supply the product, you may be offered an appropriate alternative or a refund for the unavailable item.
If a product is specifically made or personalised to your individual requirements, the applicable cancellation and return arrangements may differ from those for standard products. Any relevant limitation will be explained before you complete your purchase.
We will not treat an ordinary standard poster as personalised merely because it is printed after an order is placed. The legal position depends on the nature of the product and whether it has genuinely been made to your specifications.
Delivery and Risk
Available delivery destinations, delivery options and applicable charges will be shown during checkout. Please check that your address is complete and accurate before confirming your order.
We aim to dispatch accepted orders within the estimated timeframe stated on the relevant product page or communicated during the ordering process. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination, carrier and operational circumstances.
If there is a significant delay or an issue affecting delivery, please contact us using the details at the end of this page. We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and provide an update.
You should check the parcel and its contents as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. If the packaging appears damaged or the item arrives in an unsatisfactory condition, please contact us promptly and provide photographs where possible.
Responsibility for the goods remains with us until the goods come into the physical possession of you or a person nominated by you to receive them, except where you independently arrange a carrier that we did not offer.
If you request delivery to a neighbour, collection point or another nominated recipient, you should ensure that the arrangement is suitable and that the delivery details are correct.
Cancellations and Returns
We want you to feel confident when ordering from Studio 23 Prints. Your cancellation and return rights depend on the type of product purchased and the circumstances of the order.
Standard Online Purchases
If you are a consumer purchasing a standard product online, you generally have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
The cancellation period normally ends 14 days after the day on which you, or someone you nominate, receives the goods. If an order contains several items delivered separately, the period normally runs from the day the final item is received.
To exercise this right, you must tell us clearly that you wish to cancel within the applicable 14-day period. You can contact us by email or telephone using the details provided below.
After notifying us, you must return the goods within 14 days. Please keep proof of postage or other evidence of return until the matter has been resolved.
Condition of Returned Items
You may handle a product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way you would reasonably be able to examine it in a shop.
You may be responsible for any reduction in the value of goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them. This does not remove your statutory rights where goods are faulty or not as described.
Personalised Products
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you. This may include products produced using individual artwork, wording, dimensions or other personal requirements supplied specifically for your order.
This exception applies only where the product genuinely meets the legal definition of personalised or made-to-order goods. It does not remove your rights if the product is faulty, damaged or does not match the agreed specifications.
Return Costs and Refunds
Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise not in conformity with the contract, you will normally be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods when exercising the statutory cancellation right. We will provide return instructions when you contact us.
Where a cancellation is valid, we will refund the payments received for the cancelled goods, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option we offered. Any additional amount paid for a more expensive delivery option may not be refundable.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that they have been sent back, whichever happens first.
Once the relevant conditions have been met, refunds will be issued within the period required by applicable law, normally within 14 days.
Further information about our cancellation arrangements is available in our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
We take care when preparing orders, but if an item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or materially different from its description, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
When reporting a problem, please include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs where these would help us understand the problem. We may ask for additional information before arranging a resolution.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to consumers must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose and as described. Where goods do not meet these requirements, you may have legal rights to a repair, replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances.
If goods are faulty or not as described, you may generally have a short-term right to reject them within 30 days of delivery and receive a refund. After this period, repair or replacement may be the appropriate remedy in the first instance, subject to the legal requirements.
If a repair or replacement is unsuccessful, unavailable or cannot be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to a price reduction or final right to reject the goods.
Your statutory rights for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods remain unaffected by any voluntary return policy or product-specific condition on this website.
We will provide reasonable instructions for returning an affected item. Where a return is required because the product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will not ask you to bear the reasonable return costs.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content are owned by or licensed to STUDIO TWENTY THREE GROUP LTD. This includes product images, artwork previews, graphics, written descriptions, branding, website layouts and other materials displayed on the website.
Purchasing a printed poster or art print gives you ownership of the physical item supplied. It does not transfer ownership of the copyright or other intellectual property rights in the artwork.
You may display a purchased print for personal use in your home or another suitable private setting. Unless we give written permission or the law allows it, you must not:
- Reproduce, scan, copy or distribute the artwork for commercial purposes.
- Sell, license or commercially exploit copies of the artwork.
- Use the artwork in another product, publication or promotional campaign.
- Remove or alter copyright notices or ownership information.
- Upload or redistribute high-resolution artwork files where doing so would infringe intellectual property rights.
All rights not expressly granted remain with the relevant rights holder. If you believe that material on our website infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with sufficient information for us to review your concern.
Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information when placing an order, including your name, email address, delivery address and any product selections.
If you notice an error after submitting your order, please contact us immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to correct the information before the order is processed or dispatched, but changes cannot be guaranteed once fulfilment has begun.
You should keep your order confirmation and any related correspondence until your purchase has been completed. These details can help us identify your order if you need assistance.
If you provide information or materials for a genuinely personalised product, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to use them and that they do not unlawfully infringe another person’s rights.
We may decline to use supplied material where there is a reasonable concern that it is unlawful, misleading or infringes the rights of another party.
Liability and Limitations
We will take reasonable care in operating the website, presenting product information and fulfilling accepted orders. However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be available without interruption or that every technical feature will operate without error.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as widespread service interruptions, carrier disruptions or events that could not reasonably have been prevented.
We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by a customer, misuse of a product or failure to follow reasonable product care instructions, where such matters are relevant to the loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. In particular, nothing in these terms limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
- Your statutory rights as a consumer, including rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failure to comply with these terms or our legal obligations. We are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
We do not exclude responsibility for obligations that apply to us under applicable consumer protection law.
Privacy and Data
We collect and use personal information where necessary to operate the website, process orders, arrange delivery, respond to enquiries and meet our legal obligations.
Information may include your contact details, delivery information, order history and communications with our team. Payment information is handled through the payment process made available at checkout.
We may share relevant information with service providers where necessary to complete an order, such as payment processors, fulfilment partners and delivery companies. We do not permit service providers to use personal information for unrelated purposes.
Our Privacy Policy explains in more detail how personal information is collected, used, stored and protected, and how you can exercise your data protection rights.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, website, business arrangements or legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page. Any updated terms will apply from the time they are made available, unless a different effective date is stated.
Changes will not normally alter the terms of an order that has already been accepted. The terms that applied when your order was accepted will continue to govern that purchase, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
We recommend reviewing this page before placing a new order so that you are familiar with the terms that apply at that time.
Governing Law
These terms and any dispute or claim arising from them or from a purchase made through the website are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your country of residence.
If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, where required by applicable law.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
If we do not immediately enforce a right under these terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.
